Hello I was diagnosed with pernicious anemia and seem to have constant chronic fatigue. I’ve tried sleeping, eating better and taking vitamin b12 pills & injections, is there anything else I can do or take?
To the posters suggesting I exercise or FAST do you know what the condition I’ve been diagnosed with is?
::::::::::::::::::::::::pernicious anemia:::::::::::::::::::::::::
Has nothing to do with lack of exercise!
I don’t know how young you can be to develop arthritis but my knees and joints are almost always in pain.
When I sit I have to stretch my knees out or they’ll start hurting, whenever my finger joints hurt I just start playing piano to keep my mind off it.
I’m anemic and have EDNOS so i’m not in the best of health.
I guess I can see why I might develop something else since i’m already a weak person without good nutrition.
My question is basically what it says…can anemia (and an eating disorder) also lead to arthritis?
I have a son that has blackfan diamond anemia and I was just wanting to know if I am doing everything humanly possible to help with curing him other that a bone marrow transplant.
How many people worldwide have sickle cell anemia? What is the occurence worldwide? Thanks!
What life processes does it interrupt and how?
And, is it like anemia due tot he fact that the cells have a decreased Hemoglobin, or iron amount?
also, is it a type of anemia?
Like what are the signs of having anemia?
And also, is it possible to get anemia from losing a lot of blood from being in a car accident?
And when you have anemia, aren’t you supposed to take iron pills? About how often would you have to take them?
Thanks.

You know, sickle cell anemia, that evolutionary adaptation that allowed humans to have resistance to malaria.
Is religion an evolutionary adaptation that was once useful to self-aware hominids dealing with a a mystifying, terrifying world? That is now just a drag on human society?
Just Passin Thru; don’t live up to your avatar – look it up.
Also, why is sickle-cell more common in african americans where their ancestors live in areas that had or have malaria?
no thats wrong…
One parent is a "carrier" but won’t have the sickle-cell anemia symptoms, they will pass on the trait to their child.
