This goes along with my other question from a few hours ago about my symptoms being angina or something else.
I will say this first…I am seeing a doctor. I am just posting this to see what others think and so I know what to ask the doctor…….my symptoms…I will have a little episode where my heart starts pounding super fast and my chest hurts, I get a little short of breath, and my eyes start to get black in my peripheral vison and it closes in like I will pass out…..Im 31, used to smoke, not overweight, normal cholestoral, borderline high blood pressure, and family history of heart disease…….had an EKG that was "kind of " normal. She said it wasnt abnormal, but not normal…had an Echocardiogram that the preliminary results show nothing……is there other stuff that needs to be done, or should the echo have found it? Are there other test that will see what an Echo cant? I just dont want to overreact.
I woke up Friday with horrible stomach pain that didn’t go away with bowel movement or antacids. Soon as well I had a burning sensation below my sternum. Nitro would not relieve that. I have a heart of heart problems frfom around 10 years ago. In the ER more nitro didn’t help,, acid reducers didn’t help, and morphine didn’t help. They keep me overnight and I woke up with no pain. 3 EKGs was fine, 3 troponin okay. Hospital food did not upset my stomach on Saturday and they let me go home Saturday night. I’ve read everything on heart related issues and more on GI issues because I recently had an endoscopy and they found acute gastritis which I take Acidphex for. If anyone has experience heart related issues that are similar to severe heartburn is it normal to start in the stomach and then go to the chest or is angina more likely to start in the chest, shoulders, neck, back, etc. It gets fuzzy answers on most of my searches. Any thoughts? They told me to see my cardiologist and GI specialist with 14 days. My cardiologist is on vacation but I will see the GI guy on Friday. Thanks
what is the healthiest way to lose weight if you have asthma, an angina condition & can’t walk much because of arthritis?
what test can they do to see if you have angina

and
how can you tell the difference between heartburn and angina?
just wondering:)
many thanks<3
oh…
and another one…
can anxiety cause heartburn?
I just went for a walk and near the end of my walk I started to have heart pains. Felt like my heart was being squeezed about every three seconds. I went for a walk yesterday and I was fine. I was walking normally, strolling my daughter along.
I just had a baby a few months ago and haven’t really done serious cardio since, but I have one on many walks and even done some kick boxing. I am only 20 years old. Is this Angina? Could I have CAD? It is 4:30pm so I am not going to go see a doctor right away. Any advice?!Experience?!?! Never felt anything like this before!
CAD I meant =coronary heart disease
Also I do not smoke or drink alcohol.
I eat healthy and am a little overweight from having a baby, but not obese.
I was told by my heart doctor that I have angina, but I feel that is not the whole answer to all my symptoms. Currently I constantly have chest pain/pressure, also occurs down my left arm, shoulders, neck, jaw, throat, back, stomach. I also get diarrhea, constipation, lots of gas and burpping especially after I eat or drink. Poor appetite, intesinal sounds, feels like a lump in my throat, short of breath. Eating or drinking makes symptoms worse, No pain medicatin helps. I need some kind of relief…..any info is appreciated.
The more I read up on the symtoms the more it sounds like a digestion problem, Any info on how to treat digestion problems at home is very much appreciated.
I get burning in my chest and other pain.I have alot of gas and have been having panic attacks and anxiety.I do get pains in my arm and sometimes my chest to my chin or teeth.Could this be anxiety or angina? And if it is anxiety does the chest pain stay with you until you get rid of the anxiety because they come and go.Thanks.
My husband is 52 yo, has been getting crushing chest pains that feel like someone is sitting on his chest. It comes on usually in the mornings and if he’s been exerting himself. By exertion I mean walking at his normal pace (he has to now walk very slowly and cannot walk much further than about 50 metres before he has to rest).
He’s had tests that show he has NOT had a heart attack.
He’s had blood tests that came back normal (no enzymes), a stress test but he was in too much pain to do the test for the 15 minutes they wanted. He completed about 7 minutes. They said the result showed no damage to his heart.
He’s also had an ECG but that was normal as well.
At first they thought he had angina but now they say it isn’t angina. They think it’s arterial spasm but when I googled that it said it was angina. I’m really confused.
Anyone know what this is and if so what treatment he should have?
