Natural-Remedy.org will lead you toward natural gout remedies and alternatives. Natural gout options that are safe and effective. Gout is a specific type of arthritis. It occurs when uric acid builds up in the joints. The two types include acute gout, which is a painful condition that usually only affects one particular joint, and chronic gout which usually involves more than one joint with repeated episodes of pain and inflammation. Gout is indicated by high levels of uric acid in your body. That is to say, levels that are higher than normal. However, not everyone with high levels of uric acid has gout. It may be that your body is making too much uric acid, or possibly your body could be having a hard time eliminating it. If too much of this uric acid builds up in the fluid around the joints, crystals will form. It is these crystals that cause the joint to become inflamed. While the exact cause of gout is not known, heredity may be a factor. Gout tends to be more common in men than in women. And there also seems to be a higher incidence in people who consume alcohol. Post-menopausal women also seem to be at risk. Gout can develop in people with kidney disease, diabetes, leukemia, and obesity among other things. Typical treatments for gout have included the taking of steroids, or anti-inflammatory drugs such as naproxen sodium or ibuprofen. These, however, usually only offer temporary relief. More natural approaches to curing gout include diet and lifestyle changes such

Cardiovascular disease is the number one cause of death today in the United States. Cardiovascular disease kills more Americans than all other causes of death combined! What would you do if you learned of a simple treatment that has been successfully used for the past 35 years to rid the body of arterial plaque (which would reverse most circulatory disorders) and yet found out that most medical doctors are unaware of it. Diabetic Foot Care – Clinton and Waldorf, MD Podiatrist Dr. Larry Hotchkiss discusses why all diabetics should come in for a comprehensive diabetic foot exam. www.hotchkisspodiatry.com Diabetes affects the lives of nearly 26 million people in the United States and nearly seven million don’t even know they have the disease yet. Diabetes is the inability to manufacture or properly use insulin, and it impairs the body’s ability to convert sugars, starches, and other foods into energy. The long-term effects of elevated blood sugar (hyperglycemia) can lead to serious damage to the eyes, heart, kidney, nerves, and feet. While there is no cure for diabetes, there is hope. With proper diet, exercise, medical care, and careful management at home, a person with diabetes can avoid the most serious complications and enjoy a full and active life. Today’s podiatrist plays a key role in helping patients manage diabetes successfully and avoid foot-related complications. Podiatrists are highly trained physicians and surgeons focusing on the foot and ankle and should be an important part of your diabetes management team. Visit our website www.hotchkisspodiatry.com

I have never had any back problems before but right after an auto accident I have been having persistent lower back pain. Pain that affects the way I move, how long I sit, lifting 10+ pounds, etc. I had a MRI done which showed mild arthritis & inflamation, other than that MRI is normally. They are referring me to pain management b/c the pain is intense, I usually lose 1 to 3 days a week from the pain. This doesn’t seem right to me, why would I just start hurting like this? Thanks.
Also, my entire lower back is tender to the touch, if someone hugs me and their fingers touch certain spots of my lower back…very painful!!!

I have arthritis but it’s minor now with only flair ups occasionally when it’s cold. I walked in the morning shortly after waking up. I have been working and on my feet for a few days. My diet has varied a little in the past week. the pain is minor but sharp in the lower back area.

I’m just trying to cross-reference objectively, like House would, which possible factor is most likely the main cause of this particular pain. I also smoked a little green within the last week after not smoking for six months.
