What is the deal with some people looking like they painted their teeth with White-Out? I work in a kindergarten classroom, and one of the students has that. I’ve seen it once or twice on adults too, and had to make an effort not to stare. It looks awful!

I’m just curious if anyone knows what causes that result… I’m assuming it’s some sort of whitening process (I’m guessing it’s not a daily paint situation, since the aforementioned kindergartener’s teeth have the same chips in the "white-out" everyday), but I can’t imagine what else it could be. Or how anyone thinks it looks attractive or natural in any way, but that’s beside the point.

(As an aside, I get the impression the kindergartener’s mom is one of those creepy pageant parents, which is why a five-year-old would be forced to go through any kind of tooth-whitening procedure. Seriously, people, get a grip.)

My teeth are not super yellow or anything but when I was younger I always wanted a big white smile. Well, not that my braces are off, my teeth are definitely big. So big, that my mom is encouraging me NOT to have them whitened because they will look EVEN BIGGER! I really want to do it, but it would suck for me to pay 0 for people to think "man, that girl has some big teeth". They’re not gigantic or anything (I don’t look like Gary Buesy) but they are large. Which looks better, big almost white teeth or really big super white teeth? Lol, help me out people!

okay so i took off my braces this year and i really wanted them whitened, but it costs too much and i had to pay for my retainers so my mom just bought me teeth whitening strips(Listerine) and i use it every single day, and i also brush my teeth daily with glister toothpaste. but it seems like its getting yellow(er). any other way to get my teeth whitened .

my mm wont let me bleach it or anything.

my tooth paste is made of fluoride and i really want whitening tooth paste! my mom’s considering it and in the mean time i wanna know what my current tooth paste douse???
