The muscles the lower-middle back ache when I’m sitting at my desk. They feel like they are being pulled. I try to adjust my posture, my chair, etc., and nothing is working. Is there anything I can do to get some relief during the day when I HAVE to sit at my desk and work?
Searing pain in abdominal muscles?
I have been on a new workout routine that really focuses a lot on cardio. I usually do it two days in a row then rest one day. I was day number two for the week doing pushups when all of the sudden the muscles in my lower right abdominal region felt like they were on fire(not the normal burn from working out, this was actual searing pain),any suggestions on what this might be?? I decided to skip today’s workout to hopefully let my muscles recover….could I have pulled it?
Has anyone used Capsaicin for back pain?
My doctor told me to pick some of this up at Walgreens for pulled muscles in my back. She said if I did not get relief from it she will call something in.
I have never heard of this drug, other than the fact it is what makes peppers hot. Do you have experience with it? Did it help? How much did it cost? Thanks for your input!
Can upper back pain and chest pain/muscle pain come from coughing too much and for too long?
I started with a cold/cough about a month ago. About 2 weeks ago, the cough was still going and my chest wall and muscles were hurting pretty bad. I went to a doc who told me it was just from all of the coughing. Since then, the cough is still here, and now in addition my upper back is hurting a lot when I cough. Should I go back to the doc?

Back pain in middle and like lower back?
I’m only 13 and I have pretty bad back pain. It all started probably in the beginning of June. I don’t think I injured myself to cause the pain. It feels like hm. charlie horses in my muscles in my back… I don’t know quite how to describe it. But it’s a pretty sharp pain and it never really goes away. When i lay down, it feels like i have a huge arch in my back. Any idea why i’m feeling this pain?
Seventeen with severe lower back pain?
I think its the muscles. I recently had a bladder infection and I hoped it was just that, but it hasn’t gone away. Any suggestions of what it is and how to get rid off it?
I have seen a doctor and been treated for the bladder infection but the back pain stayed, though he thought it would go away once the infection was gone.
I strained my back an now I have pain when I swallow?
During karate, I strained the muscles in my back so bad, it dislocated three ribs (non-contact injury). I’ve been going to a chiropractor, went to a massage therapist, and got x-rays from my doctor, which came out clear. Now, two weeks after the initial injury, my back pain level (1-10) is about a 2 at times. I was on 500mg Naproxen for two weeks, and now I have difficulty swallowing. I have faint pain in my chest, just below my sternum, and it feels like there’s something in my throat when I’m eating and for a short time after I eat. Also, when I drink something cold, it hurts. I feel a little bloated in my stomach, and have to burp all the time.
Any input is appreciated, real answers only, please
What's with this lower abdominal pain?
I’m on the 15th day of my menstrual cycle, I have lower abdominal pain right in the center that feels like my muscles, and I went to the washroom only to find slightly wet panties and a whole lot of mucus when I wiped. What’s the deal?
By the way, I took Plan B in March if that makes a difference.
Do women usually experience pain during ovulation? I haven’t before.
How do I heal my back pain?
I am 17 years old. I play soccer, and I have practice everyday. (except Sunday) After or during soccer practice my lower back gets these HUGE knots in the muscles that run up my spinal column. I stretch very well because I am always tired of quitting practice early because of my back’s pain. I also hook up (i think it’s called) a tens unit. (send electric com pulses through your back) That helps get the pain off my mind but my back is never healing. I don’t know if this has anything to do with it either but i only drink 1(one) 8oz. glass of water a day. I usually drink Sweet tea :D I have been getting back massages from my family and taking ibuprofen. All of these steps work (most of the time) but the knots keep coming, and they keep hurting very bad!!!!!! HELP!!!
