This is an original song by me, called Today. School isn’t going well, my childhood cat has kidney disease, and I never say the right things at the right times, making people mad. This is just a song explaining how I feel about everything. Sorry if I mess up at some parts; sometimes I just think more about the thoughts than how I’m actually singing it. Please rate, comment, and subscribe or like it in anyway! Please show to people! I’m also going to sing a cover of Born This Way by Lady Gaga either tomorrow or the day after, so tune in on that!

How many of us know exactly where we were 21 years ago? Wayne Jensen does. It was a day that changed his life forever. “I was the first kidney transplant in Southwest Florida.” Wayne suffered from a hereditary kidney disease called Alport syndrome. It typically leads to kidney failure in early adulthood. Wayne was in his mid 40s when they gave out. “I was so sick, I mean my body was absolutely full of poison. I was on dialysis for about four months,” says Wayne. Doctors were starting up a kidney transplant program. Wayne came along at just the right time. “On October 16th they called me up and said we got one. And it was a real good on as a matter of fact,” says Wayne. And so history was made. “The surgeon who did the first transplant is still our surgical director and the nephrologist who took care of him is still our medical director so we have incredible stability in this program,” says Barbara Miller, Director of Kidney Transplant for Lee Memorial Health System. In the last 21 years, Wayne finished his career, retired and saw the birth of three grandchildren. All with the same kidney keeping him strong. “When I think about October 16th and somebody lost their life so that he could have 21 years, I am so thankful for the people who are organ donors and you know that family that made that hard decision it’s a very tough decision but it has given us life,” says Susan Jensen, wife of Wayne. It’s a life-giving gift that is in much demand. “There are really about 125000 …

In PD or peritoneal dialysis a soft catheter is placed in the abdomen. The abdominal lining, otherwise known as the peritoneum, is used as a natural filter to get rid of wastes, toxins, and extra fluid. Dialysis solution is placed in the abdomen and helps absorb wastes, which then get eliminated from the body when the fluid is drained out, much like urine. Part 5 of the IKAN Series.

You need to own the process of managing your health. You need to make sure that you find out and learn as much as you can. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. If people are explaining things in ways that don’t make sense to you, then ask them to break it down more simply And finally, I encourage everybody to be compliant. Do what you say you’re going to do so that your health care team can help you achieve the best results.

Natural-Remedy.org will lead you to gout natural remedies and treatments. Discover safe and natural alternatives to treat your gout. Gout is a specific type of arthritis. It occurs when uric acid builds up in the joints. The two types include acute gout, which is a painful condition that usually only affects one particular joint, and chronic gout which usually involves more than one joint with repeated episodes of pain and inflammation. Gout is indicated by high levels of uric acid in your body. That is to say, levels that are higher than normal. However, not everyone with high levels of uric acid has gout. It may be that your body is making too much uric acid, or possibly your body could be having a hard time eliminating it. If too much of this uric acid builds up in the fluid around the joints, crystals will form. It is these crystals that cause the joint to become inflamed. While the exact cause of gout is not known, heredity may be a factor. Gout tends to be more common in men than in women. And there also seems to be a higher incidence in people who consume alcohol. Post-menopausal women also seem to be at risk. Gout can develop in people with kidney disease, diabetes, leukemia, and obesity among other things. Typical treatments for gout have included the taking of steroids, or anti-inflammatory drugs such as naproxen sodium or ibuprofen. These, however, usually only offer temporary relief. More natural approaches to curing gout include diet and lifestyle changes …
